Peter Wharf was selected last night as the Conservative Candidate for the County Division of Egdon Heath.

Michael Tomlinson, Chairman of Mid Dorset and North Poole Conservative Association, announced Peter Wharf's selection. Michael said, “I am delighted that Peter has been selected following a meeting of local members.  He is a highly able Councillor and I know that he will work hard to secure support from across Egdon Heath.” 

Peter said, “I am really pleased to have been selected.  It has been a privilege to serve Bere Regis and Bloxworth, and I will work hard to win the support of everyone in Egdon Heath.  I look forward to a tough campaign.  Tonight I will celebrate, but the hard work begins tomorrow."
