Cllr Patrick Edwards, Michael Tomlinson and Will Burstow took part in the Great Santa Fun Run this year. Organised by the Rotary Club, Wimborne, there were about 70 Santas running around the Badbury Rings race course, raising money for charity.
Mid Dorset Conservatives were raising money for local charities Julia's House and the Royal British Legion, Wimborne.
Michael Tomlinson came fifth. He commented after the race, "It was nice to have done well and come in fifth. But this was a race where the taking part genuinely counts. We managed to raise a good sum of money for Julia's House and the Royal British Legion, Wimborne. We also managed to have some fun along the way. It was a good race."
The race was started by the Mayor of Wimborne, Cllr Robin Cook, who also handed out certificates to all of those who completed the race.
