The Boundary Commission has published its initial proposals for boundary changes in the South West.  There are set to be some big changes in Mid Dorset and the Commission has recommended that a number of our wards are to join Poole and that the Constituency formerly known as Mid Dorset is to take on some wards in North Dorset and additional parts of East Dorset.

The Boundary Commission's proposals now start a period of consulatation on the shape of our constituencies.  There are public hearings which will be held locally in November.
